Green Schools 2018

A new year means a new Green school committee.  Introducing our new committee who are looking forward to continuing the hard work of our previous committees. They have hit the ground running and have already been busy……

They couldn’t let the recent good weather pass without getting out and making use of all the beautiful Autumn leaves that have been scattered on our yard.  These leaves are very valuable to us as we can make a leaf pile which will encourage mini creatures to make their home near our bug hotel. The boys use a buddy system to encourage the younger students to get involved and they had great fun getting out in the fresh air and collecting the leaves for the pile.

We were also looking to the future!!  It was time to plant our bulbs before the really cold weather hits.  We will be looking forward to seeing these bulbs bloom in the springtime. These plants will definitely bring colour to the front of our school.

School starts at 9:20 each morning and finishes at 3 p.m.
Pupils are not permitted on school grounds before 9:00 in the morning.
